OU

Oddly enough after my last post talking about how I had not yet heard from the University of Oklahoma, it now appears that they have requested my report for LSAC. This is good news and should mean that when they receive the report I'll be complete. Excellent!

Tulsa - Quinnipiac - University of New Mexico

Since my last post, I have now applied to Quinnipiac University and University of New Mexico. I don't know if I'd like to attend Quinnipiac but I should be in good shape for a scholarship so if I get offered some serious $$$ I'd consider it highly. The University of New Mexico though would be nice because I'd be able to live with my aunt and save a lot of money that way.

I actually just heard back from the University of Tulsa on the 16th and they received my application on the 12th. So that’s good. Also my last letter of recommendation was received by LSAC on the 14th so I should be becoming complete very soon. I'd bet I start to hear back some time around the middle - end of February.

On a side note I've not heard back from the University of Oklahoma yet so I will probably be calling them here soon.

OU - Tulsa - OCU

Applications to the University of Oklahoma, University of Tulsa, and Oklahoma City University have all now been sent in and paid for. All we really have to do know is to sit and wait.

On other news I finally received all the transcript information and I found out that LSAC only dinged my GPA a little which is quite nice. I finally moved back in the residence halls and restarted the RA position. Classes start on Monday and residents arrived tomorrow so wish me luck!

Change of Direction

I completed my first application last night and that wasn't so bad. All I need to do is slip a resume and personal statement in the envelope and away it will go. The application was for the University of Oklahoma college of law which is my new number 1 choice.

I've also decided to have a change of direction when it comes down to which law schools I apply. I've decided I really only want to attend school in Oklahoma so I'm no longer applying to the University of Texas, Penn State, and University of Idaho.

Since the first application is away all we have to do now is wait.
