UNM and Housing/Fiancial Aid and Tulsa as well

Well, I finally received a response to my application from UNM and it's a big fat NO! Although I'm disappointed I was not accepted, I'm not too hurt I'm still planning on attending OU and I'm good with that.

In regards to going to OU, I've decided to live in their Traditions East on campus as it's VERY VERY close to the law school. It fits my budget and it'll be very nice to live there.

Financial Aid is being processed by OU right now so I should be hearing from them soon as well which is good.

Also I'm still waiting to hear from Tulsa about additional scholarship... I'm thinking it'll have to be quite the offer to get me away from OU now

OU

I missed my usual Wednesday posting, so oh well. Once again, not much is going on. OU has received my deposit and I've applied for housing in their Traditions East so we'll see how that turns out. I think I'm 90-10 OU to Tulsa so it would take a considerable offer to swing that number in any direction. I'm excited about getting this semester over and working through the summer. The current plan says that as soon as summer classes/RAing is over I'm hoping in the truck and going to Oklahoma with Dad.

Either no new news which is too bad.

No news is good news?

I suppose there really is nothing to post today... I recently joined the OU Law facebook group and participated in an online chat with Tulsa...

I'll keep you posted if anything occurs

OU and Tulsa with a bit of UNM

Well its official... I mailed off my deposit to the University of Oklahoma on Monday and so I think that's where I will be going come next fall. I'm excited and kind of worried, hopefully I'm making the right choice.

The only other law school option still available in my mind is at the University of Tulsa. They are still reevaluating my application for more scholarship money, and if they were to reward enough I'd have a difficult decision ahead of me... Do I eat the deposit? And go for cheaper? It'll be fun.

UNM, in one word is frustrating. I haven't heard anything from them since I last emailed them so who knows whats going down there. I guess if they were to offer an extremely good scholarship then there is a chance, but definitely not a very high one.

Utah

Well, I received a "bite me" letter from the University of Utah which will mean I will be attending a law school outside of the state! Unless UNM lets me know soon and with lots of money, I'll be going to Oklahoma. Its what I wanted anyways.
